For me, healthy eating is not a fad. It’s been my life. This is the path I have chosen to follow. I love sharing this with my community, my family and my clients. There is always something new to discover, to embrace and to relish. A new heirloom vegetable at the farmers market, a home-made gel that fuels a 20K run with my training partners or the fact my kid knows the difference between fava, pea shoot and garbanzo bean, or that she likes parsley oil with potatoes and not with parsnips. For over twenty years I have shared this knowledge, experience and inspired love of food to help others to discover their own personal strength, well being and joy through culinary consciousness.I have graduated from here and here and cooked there and there, prepared meals for financial moguls in Gotham’s towers, for entertainers dancing across the silver screen, for hungry mouths in Rome and tested new ideas for culinary pioneers. I developed a culinary wellness and health coaching program for the prenatal and the postpartum here and for everyday athletes here. The list goes on and on. More importantly, I am always thinking, breathing and imagining what to do next with nature’s bounty, and for the human body. I am dedicated to the everyday discovery of a life being inspired by food. You will always find me in the midst of an exploration: picking wild berries for a tart, making farinata over an open wood fire or whisking up a zingy vinaigrette to dress locally harvested greens. My creativity is borne from the Earth.
If this sounds like something you’re interested in, I’d love to talk to you and your community about recipe development, menu planning, culinary wellness and cooking for individuals, businesses, families and athletes and everything local, seasonal, organic and food.
